On behalf of the IDeA Networks of Biomedical Research Excellence (NM-NBRE), we invite you to the 2010 New Mexico Bioinformatics Symposium (NMBIS).
Registration Fees: Students not presenting posters $150, Non-students $225. Continental breakfast, lunch, and break refreshments will be provided.
Now in its sixth year, NMBIS is a premier educational event for the Southwest region featuring internationally renowned speakers. We look forward to seeing you!

Call for poster abstracts
NOTE: Closing date for abstracts is midnight February 24, 2010.
The NMBIS Organizing Committee invites you to submit a poster abstract of your scientific research for presentation at the poster session. Undergraduate and graduate students are encouraged to attend and present their work from any area of bioinformatics.
Students submitting posters attend NMBIS-2010 free! Poster Size 3' wide x 4' high
Student speaking slots
One or two student speakers will be selected from the poster abstract submissions to give a presentation of their work during Friday's speaker presentations. If you would like to be considered for this opportunity, be sure to check the student presentation check box on the registration form.
Scholarships
Symposium scholarships are available to students attending Dine College Shiprock, University of New Mexico Gallup, San Juan College Farmington, and Northern New Mexico College. For more information, contact Faye Schilkey at fds@ncgr.org. Please apply by February 24, 2010.

After Conference NCGR Seq Ctr Tour
We will depart the Inn at Loretto hotel sometime between 4:30 and 5:00pm. The tour will take 1 - 1.5 hours including travel time. Please RSVP Doreen Landau dkl@ncgr.org by COB February 24, 2010.
Venue and accommodations
A block of rooms at the Inn & Spa at Loretto have been reserved at the special rate of $110.00 per night. Reservations must be made by February 24, 2010 to receive the special rate.
Additional daily service fee of $12.00 will be added. This fee includes: housekeeping gratuities, high-speed wireless internet access, access to fitness center and pool, and local and toll free telephone calls.
Valet Parking at the hotel is $9.00 per day for overnight guests and $6.00 per day for day parking only.
