2012 NM-INBRE Symposium

This year's symposium will feature presentations by each of the current NM-INBRE program scientific investigators, and associated poster sessions and workshops geared towards student participation. All current NM-INBRE faculty are required to attend the annual conference, student participation is strongly encouraged, and mentors, advisory committee members and associate investigators are all invited to attend. 

PLEASE NOTE: The NM-INBRE Poster session will be Saturday evening. This is not the same poster session that NCGR is hosting at the NMBIS Symposium.


DATES
This year our conference will be held March 24 - 26, Saturday and Sunday, directly following the NCGR NMBIS. Early registration is March 23rd at the end of the NMBIS meeting.


LOCATION

Our conference will be held at the beautiful Inn and Spa at Loretto. They have given us the special rates of: $110 per night, discounted parking at $9.00 per night, discounted daily service fee of $12.00 and complimentary Wi-Fi access in meeting rooms. The discounted daily service fee covers housekeeping gratuities, high-speed wireless internet access, access to the fitness center and pool, and local and toll free telephone calls. The Inn and Spa at Loretto is also allowing for $25.00 per guest, per day Spa at Loretto discount, good towards services only, not combinable with other offers. This special rate is available until March 5th! The Inn & Spa at Loretto is located at 211 Old Santa Fe Trail - Santa Fe, New Mexico.


STEP 1: ABSTRACT SUBMISSION - Deadline: March 16
We are accepting faculty and student abstracts until March 16th. Please send your abstract directly to Carolyn Bizzell at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. . There is no word limit for the abstracts.


If you would like us to print your poster, please send it via email to Carolyn Bizzell, This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. , by March 19th. Carolyn will bring all printed posters to the conference.


STEP 2: REGISTRATION - Deadline: March 21, 3 p.m.
Use the registration button at the bottom of the page to register. Once you are registered, you will receive an email with payment instructions and a link to the Shopcart website. STEP 3: PAYMENT - Deadline: March 21, 3 p.m.
Cost for the symposium is TBA per person and you may make payments by any one of three methods:

     March 5: Last day for Special Hotel Reservation Rate (date extended!)

     March 16: Investigator and student abstracts need to be sent to the INBRE Admin Office

        March 19: Posters to be printed need to be sent to the INBRE Admin

     March 21, 3pm: Registration/Payment deadline
